Is your Moving Co. Reputable?

Whether you're moving locally or wish to relocate across the country, hiring movers may be a necessity. Not only do you avoid any heavy lifting or having to drive a moving truck yourself, you can relax knowing professionals are handling your goods and belongings. However, many innocent families are duped into hiring fly by night movers claiming to be professional moving companies. Learn how to look for signs that your movers aren't legitimate in order to hire a reputable company.

I recommend scouring the Yellow Pages or look through a public directory listing. Most reputable movers can be found easily, in more than one location. You can typically find their business number and fax number, as well. The harder it is to find a company, the more you should worry. Next, look for a business website. Though any phony moving company can design a website, it's less likely to occur this way. A company with a professional website usually spends money to keep it maintained, so it's a good sign if they have a decent website. Thirdly, choose a moving company that offers you free, in-person estimates. There is no way a mover can quote you a price without first seeing your belongings. If it seems "too good to be true," it probably is. 4th, consult the Better Business Bureau. Most companies are listed within this organization, grading them on their business antics, amount of complaints, and legality. If your mover has a bad grade with the BBB, take notice. 5th, look for reviews online or ask for references from your potential mover. A real, reputable mover can provide you with references should you need them. 6th, be referred. If you have a friend or family member that has used a particular service or moving company, ask them how their experience went. If they had a terrific experience, you can trust the company that much more. Lastly, read the fine print on your contract and ensure you actually receive a contract. An estimate form is NOT a contract. The only way to ensure you'll pay what you're quoted is by having it in writing.

All My Sons Moving & Storage of Tulsa comes with 4 generations of moving experience and we are family owned/operated. We also have an A+ rating with the BBB. So why would you call anyone other mover.
