Here are Some Tips to Avoid a Moving Scam

There are a lot of moving companies that are operating without a license and try to suck in you with their low ball prices. Here are some tips to help you avoid the pitfalls of hiring a huge mistake. First you want to check to see if they have a website or a blog. There is no excuse for not having at least a blog since it is a free and any reputable local moving company should really have a website. You also want to check to see if they are in the yellowpages. You don't wont a fly by night long distance or local moving company handling your family heirlooms. Are they accredited members of the BBB? If so, are they in good standing? Are they members of any formal clubs like the Chamber of Commerce? Here's a big one. Do they have DOT and MC numbers? If they do not have these numbers and can not tell you what they are, then they are operating without a license. Hang up and call All My Sons Moving & Storage of Tulsa right away.
Are they professional when they answer the phone? Have you ever heard of them or seen their trucks around town? Ask for their references. A good local moving company can give you several references. If they give you an estimate and it seems really low or too good to be true, it probably is, again call All My Sons of Tulsa. We can handle all your moving needs to include packing and moving you locally or long distance as well as long term storage.
