Making a Difference

The Vintage Babes are a group of ladies aged in their 60's, 70's, and beyond that try to make a difference in other people's live. They are a softball team and their motto is stay active and stay involved. The babes most recently made a trip to New Hope, a prison for women in Sun City, Florida and quickly became mentors to the women there. The Vintage Babes are determined to help change lives and say "better do this today, to be here tomorrow." We could learn a lot from them. The women incarcerated at New Hope said that it meant a lot for the vintage babes to come out to meet them, spend time with them and mentor them and that they were very thankful. One kind word or smile can make a huge difference in someone's life. We should all try it, every day.
